I'm Awake...Wow

I gave up diet soda and coffee a week ago and let me tell you I was a caffiene junky! I had 3-4 sodas a day and I enjoyed a good cup or two of coffee each morning.

Recently I discovered how bad diet soda was when I heard it can weaken your bones. Well now that I am over 30 I can't ignore the strength of my bones so buh-bye soda-pop! I figured since I was giving up soda I might as well cut way back on my coffee. I'll still enjoy a good cup on a chilly day or at a coffee house with friends. But my home brewer is going to be a little neglected for a while!

I survived this first week and made it through each day without having to nap or snapping at random things so I guess I never needed the stuff to begin with!

It's nice to have one habit kicked, now for the 213 other bad habits I have....

Oh & I am still working on my lemon dessert!

I hear ya... that soda addiction is bad... I have the hardest time kicking that habit.. I stop and then I have one can and I'm done... right back to "needing" first thing in the morning...

Did you actually count your bad habits?! :)
I kicked soda back in my teen years, but I am not sure I will ever kick coffee...
